Session Overview
For decades a successful project was defined through the iron triangle - “in time, within budget, and full scope”. However, in the recent years a growing trend of executives and project managers now consider that the project success lies more “in the eye of the beholder” and less in simply meeting the targets on the Triple Constraint.
Introduced as Stakeholder Management in PMBOK® Guide – 5th Edition, it quickly evolved based on realization that stakeholders cannot be managed, but engaged!
Over 30 years of achieving project success through effective stakeholders' engagement are summarized in George's book “A Pocket Guide to Stakeholders’ Management Engagement” - and this session will extract the most important tips from the book, to help you to successfully navigate complex stakeholders' environments.
