Technology Team Appointments

I am pleased to announce the following volunteer appointments within the technology portfolio at PMI SWOC:

Director Social Media, Cesar Abeid

Cesar will be developing social media strategy for the chapter.  He will be working closely with marcom in aligning communications via social media with the chapters overall strategy.  Cesar will also be leading and executing a "more human" proof of concept with through twitter starting immediately.

Director Technology policy, Lama Al Rahawanjy
Lama will be assembling technology policies for approval by the board.  She will commence drafting a chapter data retention policy effective immediately.

Director Systems and Technology, Jeremy VanEngen
Jeremy is a network engineer, his role will be to provide advanced technical support to the technology portfolio.  Jeremy will also be administering the chapters domain and dns information. 

Project Manager product and support, Adam Swan and Mustafa Ashi
Adam and Mustafa will both report directly to the director of products and services (Fabian).  They will provide support for chapter volunteers and technologies that have been operationalized at the chapter.  Fabians team will be focused on a number of near term projects including the decommissioning of Sharepoint by year end.  Adam will also be assisting Cesar in development of social media proof of concept.

Project Manager Solutions, Natasha Smith
Natasha will work under direction of the director of solutions, to provide analysis, business cases, and projects aligned with the chapters other portfolios.  The solutions team is working towards operalization of the chapters google utilities.  They will also be reaching out to all portfolios to engage in project identification for 2014.
